A first half which saw injury and immediate team changes was quickly overcome in the second half with a great 3-3 display of football. The whole team played their part and heads never went down.

A tremendous opening goal by Conor Buckley opened the 2008/09 season away to Portumna.

A draw was the fairest result but a fantastic opportunistic 30yd blast from the Portumna lads saw that the win was theirs. Tremendous displays by everyone and it sets us up for a great season.
